Description
Electric butterfly control valves can be threaded, flanged or welded into the flow path. Threaded ends usually have American standard female tapered pipe threads. Dimensions, design details and pressure temperature ratings of flanged ends shall comply with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) specifications.
The material used for the control valve body construction is cast iron or carbon steel. Other materials such as chrome molybdenum, stainless steel, bronze, monel, nickel, castable alloys can be used when the control valve operates under extreme conditions, such as very high or very low temperatures, or applications in corrosive environments. When cast valve bodies are not practical, valves can also be made from solid bar stock or forged material, especially for small valves.
The material of construction for electric butterfly control valve trim needs to have better performance, so we choose precision parts that are more resistant to corrosion, corrosion, wear and deformation than the body material.
