Pneumatic Single Seat Control Valve

Description

A Pneumatic Single Seat Control Valve is a valve that uses compressed air as a power source. The cylinder is its actuator. It realizes switching or proportional adjustment with the help of electric valve positioners, converter solenoid valves, fixed valves, and other accessories to drive valves, etc. It can receive the control signal of the industrial automation control system to achieve the purpose of precise adjustment and control of the process parameters of the fluid medium. Single seat valves come in many forms such as globe, angle, strip, forged, and split constructions. Due to its simple control, fast response, and inherent safety, no other explosion protection measures are required, so Pneumatic Single Seat Control Valves are widely used in chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, power plants, textiles, paper, and pharmaceutical industries.

Since high pressure fluid is normally loading the entire area of the port, the unbalance force created must be considered in selecting actuators for Single Seated control valve bodies. The Pneumatic Single Seat Control Valves are known to work well in small sizes but it can often be used in 4 inch to 8 inch sizes with high thrust actuators.
